Yes, I read that. My coworker observed that the LangChain Instrumentor wasn't handling all the use cases, so he wrote some custom code that seems to get most of the way to what's needed.

One thing that's noticeable is that they're sometimes seeing spans get orphaned, rather than grouped with the appropriate steps. I'm wondering if custom instrumentation would help with this, or if the LangChainInstrumentor might be better for avoiding that issue?

I realize this is an old post, but I recently started working with a client who is using LangGraph, and I'm trying to figure out what special things need to be done to get it to play well with Arize. I see you have a LangChainInstrumentor, but this client isn't using that.
