π Hey all,
We just shipped a major update to Alyx, the AI engineering agent built into Arize AX β now live and available in your workspace today.
Most AI assistants inside developer tools follow a fixed decision path. They struggle to adapt, compose complex actions, or handle workflows that werenβt explicitly predefined.
Alyx 2.0 is built differently.
It breaks down complex tasks, maintains context across actions, and executes across the AI engineering lifecycle β from error analysis and trace debugging to prompt experimentation and evaluation. It works across datasets, experiments, Playground, Eval Builder, and Traces, adapting to where you are in the product.
This update also introduces:
Bring-your-own model integrations (OpenAI and Anthropic via AWS Bedrock and Vertex AI, with more providers coming soon)
A new default model: Claude Sonnet 4.5, balancing speed and capability out of the box
To go deeper, join us for a live webinar where Arize engineers will walk through how Alyx 2.0 works under the hood, including a live demo and the design decisions behind planning, context management, and testing adaptive agents.
