Question: is anyone self-hosting arise Phoenix in prod ? Also is there project space available, sorry I haven't checked the feature ? Thanks !
Hey Akshobhya D. Many of our users self-host Phoenix and submit traces from production applications. See our self-hosting docs here. Not clear what you have in mind for project space. Can you clarify?
It would be good to know what is the maintenance cost for it ? As for project can a user be only allowed to look at a particular the trace RBAC/ABAC ?
Hey Akshobhya D., one of our design goals is to make Phoenix easy to deploy. It is a single Docker container. We recommend using Postgres. Helm chart included in the above link.
We don't support scoping of particular projects to particular users.
Is it in a product roadmap ? As I think it would be vital for companies that have multiple products being built where traces logs of a product should only be visible to a particular user?
It's not on the current roadmap to support project-level access in a single instance of Phoenix, but feel please free to file us an issue on GitHub. The Arize AX platform supports enterprise-level RBAC. Phoenix Cloud also has the notion of spaces, which provision individual, self-contained instances of Phoenix with separate projects/ users. Self-hosted users sometimes deploy multiple instances of Phoenix for different teams to accomplish something similar. Hope this helps!
Yeah , I was wondering about that, this would mean around 50- 100 instances of pheonix to be running which isn't ideal. Is enterprise Arize AX in azure marketplace which can be deployed inside a tenant?
I believe so, but let鈥檚 check with 馃敀[private user]
