Understanding the Intended Usage of Phoenix and Arize Platforms

Hey guys, what is the intended usage of phoenix and the arize platform, I have used both in toy projects and I am not clear on their intended usage with respect to one another, I spoke with an arize representative he mentioned they are generally used in a mutually exclusive fashion, in the sense that you use one or the other, depending on your scale. I noticed that through OpenTelemetry they are interoperable. That being said, they have very distinct uses, where phoenix is low latency tree structure visualization of logs, the platform does a good deal of preprocessing and analysis. So I am curious what is the intended usage / flow?
