Hi there. How long will projects moved to the deprecated legacy space be supported for? The change occurred in the middle of a change freeze and we have focus groups planned over the next few months. It looks like everything is still working but I'm concerned about data retention, or the projects being removed.
It seems likely that projects in the deprecated legacy Phoenix Cloud space will remain intact and independent after migration, and users can continue to access them for now. However, there is no explicit guarantee or published timeline for how long legacy spaces will be supported, and users are advised to contact the Phoenix team if they need to migrate data to the new version. Data retention and project removal policies for legacy spaces are not detailed in the available documentation, so continued access cannot be assured indefinitely. If you have critical focus groups or data needs over the next few months, it may be prudent to reach out to the Phoenix team directly for clarification or to request migration support, as future deprecation or removal of legacy spaces could occur without much notice. Would you like more detail on how to contact the team or on migration options?Sources: - https://arize.com/docs/phoenix/self-hosting/misc

If this is referring to Phoenix Cloud, the recent update was mainly to give legacy users the option to also create new instances, instead of being limited to just the old version. You can keep using your legacy instances as long as you need — there’s no set end date. The only time we’d remove something is if it’s been inactive for a really long time and we can’t reach the owner, or if the owner has asked us to delete it.
