It seems likely that the Prompts tab should appear on the left once you’ve configured your API key and are running a version of Phoenix with prompt management enabled. According to the <https://docs.arize.com/phoenix/prompt-engineering/quickstart-prompts|Quickstart: Prompts guide>, you can access the prompt playground—which includes the prompt directory—via the left navbar once your API key for your chosen LLM provider is set up.
If you’re not seeing this tab, it might be due to one of the following:
• Your Phoenix instance may not be running a version or configuration that includes the prompt management features.
• The API key might not be configured correctly, which can sometimes hide parts of the UI.
