Correcting Environment Variable for Phoenix Working Directory

I currently have os.environ['ENV_WORKING_DIR'] = "/var/task/.phoenix" but i think it should be os.environ['PHOENIX_WORKING_DIR'] = "/var/task/.phoenix"

Clarifying Use of PHOENIX_WORKING_DIR for Setting Working Directory

i am trying to use the new ENV var that lets you set the working dir, if i am reading the code right you need to set PHOENIX_WORKING_DIR environment var, but the error message says

ℹ️ To change, set the `{ENV_WORKING_DIR}` environment variable before importing phoenix.

Am i misreading the code here ?

ENV_WORKING_DIR = "PHOENIX_WORKING_DIR"
working_dir_str = os.getenv(ENV_WORKING_DIR)

Mikyo Dustin N. just wanted to let you know i now have traces being emitted from the Lambda container into a hosted phoenix app on an EC2 server. The issue was I had to compile all the c-python libs on a Lambda container specifically, as building them on EC2 was creating compatability issues. it is now working !

Dustin N. FYI this is the sys.path output on Lambda


SYS PATH: ['/var/task', '/var/runtime', '/mnt/efs/python/packages', '/var/task/$PYTHONPATH', '/var/lang/lib/python39.zip', '/var/lang/lib/python3.9', '/var/lang/lib/python3.9/lib-dynload', '/var/lang/lib/python3.9/site-packages']

This is with the python path ENV being set to /mnt/efs/python/packages:$PYTHONPATH

Looks like this may be related to LlamaIndex not phoenix somehow.. i removed the phoenix import and still got the erorr, not sure what i broke exactly 😬

well that would be incredible, let me know if you need any help testing/verifying an experimental version happy to do it. this numpy thing is making me crazy
