a registry in this case appears to be a design system layered on top of radix headless components, with the typical shadcn component lib serving as a base that you customize

the way I see it, this prevents the designer's nightmare. They get to design and perfect their system, and vibe coders get to utilize it for free over mcp

Seems pretty cool, need to get a better understanding of shadcn and how these different component registries work. The scaffolding with your own tokens and stuff is pretty dope though
