Building a Web App with Phoenix UI for Interactive Trace Display

HI, new to phoenix, have gotten the quick start examples to work. One question, prob along the same line as the last post. I am interested in building a web app which incoprates the phoenix UI into a pane and allow the user to interactive display a single trace. is there an api for during just that?

Hey Bruce! It certainly wouldn’t be impossible I’d like to think though might be tough to do exactly what you want right now. Phoenix does have a GraphQL endpoint so that could be leveraged in some way

how about this. When I run one LLM predict, say through DSPy, how do I find out what context.span_id was generated so I can query for just that span?

I would probably recommend using the trace_id instead (https://github.com/quarkusio/quarkus/discussions/27125). That way you can pull the entire trace of the dspy.Module
